Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Shoreham Port's new Mooring Crew, locally known as “Hufflers’’. Mooring operations are one of the important tasks that our marine colleagues perform on ship’s deck as you will be responsible for securing ships to mooring bollards with the ships mooring lines. If you enjoy working as part of a team to provide a safe and efficient service and are you looking for a career within a Marine team, we would love to hear from you.

Shoreham Port is ideally situated on the south coast of England to offer support to vessels, owners, agents, and crews using one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world. Our Marine Team offer a range of maritime services to merchant and fishing vessels, as well as bed levelling, towage support and diving services.
Key skills and experienceÂ
- A marine background is favourable.
- Knowledge of the Port Marine Safety Code.
- ENG1 medical certificate
- Enthusiasm.
- Team player.
- Driving License.
- VHF (GMDSS)
