About Shoreham Port
Shoreham Port operates 24/7, 365 days of the year, within a fascinating and complex engineering environment. The role of Engineering Apprentice (Maintenance) is to support the Engineering Team in keeping Shoreham Port operational, which involves maintaining our critical infrastructure. No two days are the same; you could be maintaining one of our 170 commercial units, and the next day you could be involved in exciting development and refurbishment projects.

| Late May 2026 | Getting to know Us: We will review all the application forms and invite candidates who we think closely match our requirements to an Open Evening where we will tell you a little bit more about the Port and you will have an opportunity to meet some of our team. |
| Early July 2026 | Getting to know You: We will invite candidates to an assessment event. We pride ourselves on our colleagues being their authentic self at work and so the event will be informal and will be a great opportunity to meet other candidates. It is likely to involve some group discussion, a job-related activity and a short interview with members of the team. Don’t worry, this is an opportunity for you to get to know us, and for us to get to know you, in a friendly and welcoming environment. |

| August 2026 | The successful candidate will be asked to attend an enrolment day at Chichester College Group. |
| 7th September 2026 | Welcome to the Port – apprentice start date. |
