Shoreham Port Industrial Cluster

In January 2024, the Shoreham Port Industrial Cluster was successful in an application to the Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plans Competition funded by Department of Energy Security and Net Zero and delivered by Innovate UK, to support the development of place-based decarbonisation plans, demonstrating collaboration between closely located industrial businesses.

Following a year long collaborative process of wide-ranging research, in-depth analysis, scenario modelling and consultation, our Local Industrial Decarbonisation Plan is now available to view, setting out the process, options and scenarios for decarbonising the Shoreham Port Industrial Cluster.

Our plan demonstrates how the Shoreham Port Industrial Cluster can build on the long history and strengths of a Trust Port as it evolves into a zero-carbon centre for trade, employment, and inclusive community engagement.
