We have a team of in-house commercial divers who are always on standby. Shoreham Port’s dive team have years of experience in underwater construction techniques, surveys and non-destructive testing. They are also on hand to clear fouled propellers or attend to urgent needs of visiting vessels.
Highly experienced divers
All members of our dive team are required to undertake a rigorous nine-week training program to obtain a Health & Safety Executive commercial diver qualification. This industry recognised qualification is both physically and mentally demanding, but ensures we only supply the most capable and skilled divers to our customers.
No job too big or small
Our dive team offer a wide range of services, including removing materials and structures below water, clearing fouled propellers and checking for hull damage on visiting vessels. They also play an integral part in the maintenance of our harbour, ensuring our Prince Philip Lock remains operational 24/7 and our 8km of quay walls are continually maintained.
