OUR ACTION PLAN STAKEHOLDERS

16/03/2020 - Southwick Beach Outer Layby Service Road Closure

Please be aware that the Southwick Beach Outer Layby Service Road will be shut to the public for approximately 2 weeks, commencing on Monday 16th March. Over this time there will be an increase in vehicle traffic along South Basin Road. This is due to carrying out biannual beach replenishment works that require transporting shingle from Black Rock beach and moving it by road to the Eastern Breakwater and Southwick Beach. This ensures to protect our coastline.

06/11/2019 - Ramp to the beach from Shoreham Fort

Please note, beach users are kindly requested to refrain from using the ramp to the beach from Shoreham Fort until recent storm damage is repaired and the slippery surface resolved. The Environment Agency are working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for using an alternative route during this time.
