Shoreham Port is delighted to welcome Brian Warman to their

Engineering Team.  Brian has been

recruited as a full time Engineering Tradesperson, bringing complementary

skills to the Engineering Team. He will be working on a wide range of tasks

maintaining and improving the critical infrastructure of the Port.

Prior to working at the Port Brian was employed as a fork lift

truck fitter at Euro Trucks in Chichester. He has also worked for GlaxoSmithKline maintaining their pharmaceutical

production facilities in Worthing. A large part of this role entailed

mechanical and electrical plant maintenance using skills that will be highly

valuable in his work at the Port.

Brian was attracted to Shoreham Port as he

wanted to develop his engineering skills in a diverse marine environment. He

commented “I have thoroughly enjoyed my first couple of weeks at Shoreham Port

and wish I had been able to work here years ago – the team spirit and work

ethic is fantastic”.  Outside of work

Brian enjoys dog walking and he holds a private pilot’s license.

Tony Parker, Director of Engineering said “we are delighted to

welcome Brian to the team. Brian has an extensive mechanical and electrical

background and will be a valuable asset to the Engineering team. The Port

encourages the learning and development of its entire staff and we will support

Brian as he transfers many of his skill sets within our own unique

environment”.
