Shoreham Port's 2009 Annual Report has now been finalised and is being distributed to our key stakeholders. The Annual Report and Accounts reflects the Port's ongoing commitment to principles of openness, transparency and accountability. Copies can be downloaded through our Corporate homepage or obtained from our reception in Nautilus House, Albion Street, Southwick.
In addition, Shoreham Port will be celebrating their 250th Anniversary this year, and is holding an open day on 18th July 2010 to mark the occasion. As well as this Shoreham Port will be occupying The Barn Theatre, Southwick Community Centre on 13th July 2010 to hold our Annual Public Meeting.
Chief Executive, Rodney Lunn says 'Despite the tough economic trading conditions, the port performed well in 2009 with throughput only down 3.1%. The Port has terrific potential and is ideally situated for Baltic and North European trade, handling traffic for both local and regional customers. We are working closely with our stakeholders to grow the Port through mutually beneficial partnerships'.
