Well over 100 people attended Shoreham Port’s Annual Public & Stakeholders meeting this week making it a record year for attendance. Starting with an introduction from the Port’s Chairman Stuart Condie, the evening continued with a presentation from their Chief Executive, Rodney Lunn.
The presentation covered all aspects of port activity from port performance through to Shoreham’s engagement and support for its local community. The presentation was followed by an extensive question and answer session, giving members of the audience the chance to speak directly with the Port’s senior management team.
Tony Parker, Director of Engineering, Peter Davies, Development Director and Julian Seaman, Harbour Master were all present to answer questions relevant to their area of expertise. A number of topics were raised from how the Port will tackle noise and light pollution to praise from the Adur Slipways Group for the Port’s contribution towards a new slipway.
Rodney Lunn, Chief Executive commented” The Public Meeting is an excellent way for those interested in Shoreham Port to voice their thoughts and speak to the team and we very much appreciate the support of our stakeholders over the past year”.
