Shoreham Port are pleased to advise that Captain Stuart Nicholls has been appointed as a Non Executive Director on their Board, with effect from 1st January 2013. As a trust Port, the process for recruitment was very open and transparent, and the Port received a high number of applicants.
Stuart lives nearby in Shoreham Beach and since February 2009 has been Owner and Managing Director of Stratum Five, a local company which supplies globally to the maritime industry with cost effective fleet tracking services and vessel monitoring systems. In his spare time Stuart also enjoys coaching his local rugby team.
Stuart Nicholls commented “I am delighted to be joining Shoreham Port’s Board. I have lived in this area for a number of years now and have always had a keen interest in the Port. I look forward to embarking on the role and feel I have joined the board at an exciting time with the developments that are planned to take place over the forthcoming years.”
At this time the Port also says farewell to John Rodway and Commodore James Fanshawe, whose terms of office expired at the end of December 2012.
