As well as being a successful shipping port, Shoreham Port is a vibrant hub of national and local businesses with a property estate comprising of over 150 companies. This month, the Port welcome Nutritious Fish to their thriving tenant community, a local online fishmonger offering seasonal, UK-sourced fresh fish and shellfish across Sussex.
Occupying a superb waterside location, Nutritious Fish will be based at Hove Enterprise Centre, one of Shoreham Port’s many tenant locations where tenants work alongside dynamic, like-minded businesses, with the opportunity for additional trading and networking. Hove Enterprise Centre is purpose-built for the growth of small and medium sized enterprises. Many of them later enjoy the flexibility of being able to migrate to the larger tenant spaces such as the award-winning and sustainably built Hove Enterprise Centre Extension as their businesses grow.
Similarly to Shoreham Port, Nutritious Fish share a commitment to protecting the environment and minimising their impact on the planet. They source all their seasonal fresh fish and shellfish within the UK from sustainable stocks and use minimal, fully compostable, plastic-free packaging. They also ensure deliveries are planned as efficiently as possible to minimise mileage and to reduce their carbon emissions.
Nutritious Fish pride themselves on their recipes and prep tips for both beginners and the more experienced. You can even filter recipes on their website by fish type and methods, depending on how much time you have, then choose between selections of generous-sized prepared fillets to be delivered straight to your door.
David Copeland, Founder of Nutritious Fish commented "Like many home-delivery businesses, Nutritious Fish has grown significantly over the first half of this year, so it was time to upscale our business premises to ensure we can keep up with customer demand for the remainder of this year, and beyond. Hove Enterprise Centre is the perfect location: the unit we're leasing is a generous size, adaptable to our needs and has good vehicle access. It's also close to our main customer base in Brighton & Hove, near to our suppliers, plus it's quick to get to the A27 which allows us to quickly reach our customers across the rest of Sussex."
Tim Hague, Director of Property and Development commented “It’s always excellent to see our tenant community growing, and as an Eco-Port we are particularly pleased to welcome Nutritious Fish who share our values concerning sustainability and protecting the local environment. We hope they settle in well at their new tenant space, and we look forward to sampling their fresh, seasonal fish in the coming months!”.
Tim continued “If you would like information about our new business units at Shoreham Port please contact the Port via 01273 598100 or contact Oakley Property. You can also check out our property webpage to find out what’s available.”
