Local football club Southwick Rangers had a difficult start to the year as their clubhouse was broken into and vital equipment and kit was stolen. Shoreham Port has supported the club in the past and took the news as an opportunity to show further support to them by funding new kit for the team of youngsters.  The image on the right shows the under 9’s all kitted out, prepped and read for another year of success.

Sara Tuffin, Secretary of the Southwick Rangers said “We would like to thank Shoreham Port for providing sponsorship for our new Under 9's team to buy a new kit. It is always a struggle finding sponsors every year for kit and Shoreham Port have been providing sponsorship since the club started in 2005. The team has started off very brightly with good results in their pre-season friendlies and we look forward to a fun and exciting season.”

Shoreham Port is committed to supporting charities, youth groups and individuals in the local area and sponsoring a local football club is one of the many ways the Port looks to engage with the community. Sara Basset, Finance Director said “We are delighted to be able to help our local junior football team and wish them a successful season.”

Southwick Rangers are looking for players for some of their squads.  They welcome girls and boys that want to enjoy football and will be committed to turn up for training and matches every week. Home games are played at the Southwick Recreation Ground just off Croft Avenue in Southwick.
