Instead of sending Christmas cards this year Shoreham Port has decided to donate to the charity, Your Space Your Time (YSYT). YSYT provides safe and fun play and activities for children and young people with motor, sensory, behavioural or learning difficulties.
Joe Shanahan from YSYT commented “As times are hard for everyone at the moment and money is hard to come by, particularly at this time of year, we are extremely grateful to Shoreham Port for their generous donation to Your Space Your Time (YSYT).
YSYT provides a play scheme at Herons Dale Primary School for children/young people with special needs and disabilities during weekends and school holiday times and Shoreham Port’s donation is an enormous boost to our funds! This will go a long way to help in providing activities for the 35 children/young people attending each session. Many thanks again to Shoreham Port.”
Rodney Lunn, Chief Executive said “As a trust Port we strive to have a positive impact on the local area and support a range of local charities and community groups. We are delighted to be able to make a difference and contribute to a charity that provides such a vital service for the local community.”
