Shoreham Port is pleased to welcome two more stevedores to their operations team.
Tom Rawlins (pictured left in inset) lives in Hampshire but he will be relocating to the local area in the near future. Since leaving school he has gained five years of experience with handling all types of plant machinery, from a previous employment in the same region. Tom, who will be a great asset to the port, is looking forward to settling into his new role and bringing with him new skills to the port.
Dean Hamilton, who lives in Ringmer, has many years of experience from working in the steel industry, operating plasma cutting machinery, as well as managing DEMAG overhead cranes, forklifts and side loaders. With the variety of knowledge Dean has already gained over the years his skill base gives the port the opportunity to develop Dean into a multi skilled Stevedore Machine Driver.
