A vacancy has arisen for a 21 week contract for a Part Time Receptionist (Maternity Cover) based at Shoreham Port in the Nautilus House office. The role will include responsibility of all reception duties and assistance with administration and accounts.

The key responsibilities of the job are, dealing with visitors and general enquires at reception, taking all incoming telephone calls and putting them through to the appropriate member of staff and dealing with incoming and outgoing mail. Other responsibilities include, updating the information on the Ports public information boards, assisting with the planning of corporate events and the public meeting and overseeing the running of Nautilus House.

Shoreham Port is a vibrant commercial port on the south coast which provides a diverse working environment. The successful candidate will have exposure to a broad cross section of the ports stakeholders, meeting and greeting them and assisting with their enquiries. It is a fun and supportive environment to work in and all staff receive a comprehensive induction and any relevant training.

The ideal candidate should be a team player and have excellent communication skills. Candidates must also be able to juggle and prioritise tasks, whilst paying great attention to detail.
