Candidates will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a familiarity with local and regional issues is desirable. The appointments will be initially for three years, with a time commitment of about 15 days each year.

The closing date for applications is the 17th September 2014, with interviews being held on the week commencing the 20th October 2014.

As new members join the Board, Shoreham will bid farewell to three of its long standing Board members. Chairman, James May, Fiona Morris and Rachael Henderson will be leaving Shoreham Port when their term comes to an end in December.

James May commented “I have seen the Port develop and diversify significantly over my nine year appointment. I will be handing my position as Chairman onto Stuart Condie and I have every confidence that Stuart will continue to develop the Port’s strategic agenda and keep Shoreham Port at the forefront of the local economy.”

Rodney Lunn, Chief Executive at Shoreham Port added “The Port is set to see considerable development over the next five years and I look forward to welcoming our new Board members to the team to help steer the direction of the Port.”
