Shoreham Port is pleased to announce the release of their latest newsletter, PORTlife 13. In this spring edition the Port focuses on timber, one of its major cargoes. Included in the newsletter is an illustrated ‘life cycle of timber’ from the very first stage of harvesting through to recycling, and all the people who are involved along the way.

There is also an opportunity to win one of five brand new Shoreham Port umbrellas! The sturdy and hard wearing umbrellas are being enjoyed by all port staff so don’t miss your chance to win one for yourself. The deadline for competition entries is Friday 12th February.

Collect the newsletter today from the reception at Nautilus House or download a copy from the website at www.shoreham-port.co.uk/PORTlife-Newsletters. Alternatively, you can sign up to the Port’s mailing list. Just call 01273 598100 or email info@shoreham-port.co.uk.

Katie Orchin, Marketing & Communications Executive at Shoreham Port commented “We have been looking forward to the release of PORTlife 13. We really enjoyed creating the feature on the life cycle of timber as it provides our readers with a real insight into the complex logistics behind your everyday garden shed, fence and decking.”

In between newsletters why not connect with Shoreham Port on Facebook. The page is regularly updated with news, event information and notices from the Marine Department. Simply search ‘Shoreham Port’ on Facebook or visit www.facebook.com/shorehamportauthority.
