As we reach the end of 2015 Shoreham Port is preparing to bid farewell to long standing Board Member, Robert Stiles. Robert first joined the Board in January 2010 having been a co-opted Member throughout 2009.

Robert has brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Board. The Port has benefitted from his specialist knowledge in property and development, which has been invaluable for making strategic decisions about the Port’s vast property and land portfolio. Robert has advised on a number of major development projects including the Port Masterplan and the acquisition and disposal of key sites in the Western and Eastern Arms of the Port.

Robert commented “So much has been achieved at the Port over recent years. It has undergone significant modernisation and has become a major economic driver for the region. I have much enjoyed my time on the Board and dealing with the challenges we have faced. I wish the Board and staff well and look forward to hearing of the Port’s progress as key milestones continue to be reached.”

Rodney Lunn, Chief Executive at Shoreham Port added “I would like to offer Robert my sincere thanks for his significant contribution to the Board. Robert has overseen great change at the Port over the last few years and his support and guidance has been invaluable. On behalf of the Board and the Port we would like to wish Robert well in his future endeavors.”
