Shoreham Port are pleased to announce the opening of Rombus, an extension to the Brighton Terminal.

This new 4 acre common user facility, will provide the port with greater flexibility to handle a full range of cargoes, from timber and aggregates to salt and peat.

The first vessel to discharge onto the terminal was the Motor Vessel (MV) Hajo, unloading 6,800 cubic metres of timber with a total of 1,683 packages.

The MV Hajo, operated by Jonsson Nova www.jnab.se arrived in Shoreham Port last week from Sweden's east coast ports of Oskarshamn and Kalmar to discharge the vessel's full load of timber.
