22 December 2010
Shoreham Port staff would like to wish all of our customers a very merry Christmas and prosperous 2011.
2010 has been an exciting and challenging year, ranging from our normal day to day commercial activities to a very successful Open Day, where 15,000 people came through the port, and the huge pipeline project which saw the construction of the mile long outfall pipe in the harbour for Friars Bay.
We would like to thank all our staff, customers, tenants, local community and local authorities for their support and encouragement throughout the year.
Rodney Lunn, Chief Executive commented, "This year we have strived to improve communication by being open and transparent and welcoming visitors to the port. The new improved website, newsletters and notice boards by the lock gates have all helped this process. As another year closes, I would like to take the opportunity to wish you all a merry Christmas and Happy New Year".
