Shoreham Harbour is one of the Royal National Lifeboats Institution's (RNLI) busiest lifeboat stations and will soon receive a Tamar-class all-weather lifeboat.
However, before this state of the art boat can be brought into action, the station needs to be updated so that it can accommodate and launch the new vessel.
As a charity, the RNLI needs your help. As you would hope from a good neighbour, Shoreham Port is providing free mooring space for the new vessel until the enlarged and improved lifeboat station is built. We're also doing all we can to help with the planning applications that need to be submitted to the local authority.
The Shoreham Harbour appeal needs to raise £1m to fund these life-saving improvements.
