5 May 2016
Shoreham Port’s Annual Public & Stakeholders Meeting will be held in just under two weeks’ time on the 17th May in the Barn Theatre at Southwick Community Centre. All are invited to this free event which gives local stakeholders the opportunity to catch up on developments at the Port and plans for the future.
The evening will begin at 6.30pm with light refreshments and at 7pm an Introduction from the Chairman Stuart Condie, followed by a presentation from Chief Executive, Rodney Lunn. The presentation will cover a wide range of topics including an overview of last year’s trading, updates on cargo types and volumes, the latest on the Port’s Masterplan, renewable energy, latest projects and stakeholder engagement.
Following on from the presentation there will be a question and answer session enabling those attending to ask questions directly to members of the Board and Senior Leadership Team.
Rodney Lunn commented “We are looking forward to catching up with local stakeholders and new members of our community at this year’s Public Meeting. We have decided to hold the meeting in May when it is cooler and therefore more comfortable for everyone in the room. We are hopeful for another good turnout after our record breaking year last year with over 120 people in attendance.”
The Public Meeting will be held at The Barn Theatre, Southwick Street, Southwick BN42 4TE. This is an open event and you do not need a ticket to attend. For further details please call 01273 598100
