On Wednesday 3rd July Shoreham Port will be holding an open day in search of their next apprentice. All are invited to learn about the exciting new opportunity available within the Port’s engineering team. The open day will give attendees the unique chance to discuss the role with Deputy Port Engineer, Brian Rousell and to find out what working at Shoreham Port is all about through meeting an apprentice currently in situ and other members of staff. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and find out more about the workings of a busy commercial Port and how this apprenticeship will play an important role within the business.
The open day starts at 10am and will include a tour of the Port and a complimentary lunch. The apprenticeship will be within the engineering department, primarily to develop the Port’s Asset Maintenance Software (AMS) Package, supporting the engineering management team, using AutoCAD to supplement and update Port drawings and data, and much much more! It is a very diverse role and the Port are hoping to find a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to embark on the start of an exciting career with the Port. Interviews will commence shortly after.
