Shoreham Port has steadily been increasing its workforce in order to accommodate an increase in new business and maintain service levels for existing customers.
This month a vacancy has arisen for a Clerical Assistant in our Operations Division (Sussex Port Forwarding) based in Portslade. The role will entail data entry to keep ships manifest and out-turns up to date, using the ports bespoke Track-A-Pack System and Excel. The role will also involve other administrative duties.
The ideal candidate should have good IT Skills including workable knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite; in particular Excel spread sheets and data manipulation. Paul Johnson, Safety & HR Director said “We look forward to welcoming someone new to the team to help deal with the increase in workload”.
