This week marks the release of Shoreham Port’s Annual Report for 2017. Each year the content and design are given a thorough review and refresh to ensure the report remains engaging and informative. The emphasis for the 2017 report was striking imagery to represent the huge amount of activity taking place at Shoreham Port.
This year’s report highlights notable successes including Shoreham Port becoming the number one scalloping port in England and the fourth largest in Europe.
Port operations remained steady throughout 2017 resulting in similar revenue and tonnage results to the prior year. Key cargoes such as timber, aggregates, steel, cereals and petroleum products again moved well. The property division continued to diversify and expand and the Port was pleased to be able to secure serviced office space for over thirty existing tenants at Maritime House.
Sara Bassett, Finance Director & Deputy Chief Executive at Shoreham Port commented “The Annual Report is a fantastic way for us to reflect on another successful year at the Port. We have a dedicated workforce and experienced Board and Senior Leadership Team who continue to drive the Port forward. 2018 is set to be an equally busy year with many new developments taking shape. We’d like to thank our stakeholders for their continued support and look forward to continuing to work with our valued customers.”
