Shoreham Port provides over 42,365m² of very high quality, purpose built warehouse and covered storage space which is perfect for goods such as redwood and joinery timber. In addition to the excellent covered storage facilities, there is a significant amount of open quay storage space on clean block paving which enables the perfect presentation of products.                                

There is a state of the art stock control system called Track-A-Pack in use at the Port which tracks all timber movements throughout the 2.5km length of the port. On discharge each pack of timber has a unique barcode label attached, specifications checked where necessary and then put away to store. The Track-A-Pack system utilises bar code and radio frequency technology which allows users to view “real time” information about their stock via the port website, enabling a just in time” delivery system to be adopted by customers and ensuring that stock movements are recorded with 100% accuracy. It also provides an easy and accurate stock take facility.
