Shoreham Port operates a thriving Ships Agency which has the local expertise and know-how on where to source cost effective solutions to optimise visits to the Port and deliver quick turnaround times for vessels. The agency operates a 24-hour seven-day a week service.

Our staff have over 20 years’ experience of shipping and represent the ship owner’s interests whilst providing all of the services that may be required for both the crew and the vessel itself. Our Ships Agency personnel have an excellent reputation and are known for their responsive and ‘can do’ attitude.

Additionally the team have experience of agency work in Newhaven port too, should this be of interest please let us know and this can be discussed further. 

Shoreham Port's Ships Agency benefit from a close working relationship with both the stevedores and marine department, liaising closely when required in relation to berthing at commercial berths or alternatively crane, forklift and storage assistance, arranging varying requests and all types of services at the soonest opportunity. The team can also arrange car parking for vessel related visits, ensuring safe access to and from vessels 24/7. 

The agency have already overseen a number of working support vessels whilst in Port, (including mobilisation and demobilisation of vessles), assisting and ensuring a comprehensive service throughout, including the use of local knowledge where needed.
