All reports to Shoreham Port are taken very seriously and will be investigated.

To demonstrate the Port's commitment to maritime safety and ensure the involvement of harbour users, a monthly marine safety report will be published.

A timber stack was knocked by a forklift and fell into the water.

Timber recovered from the water and the incident was investigated.

A Master of a commercial vessel declared an engine defect during the Pilot/Master Exchange.

12/08/2017

The vessel was returned back to the anchorage and a tug was requested to assist passage inbound on a following tide.

A broken down leisure vessel was moved to safety from going onto a lea shore inside the port by the pilot cutter.
